AI for the finance function

During this event, Tineke Distelmans, Ph.D., will discuss machine learning and AI applications in practice for business professionals using examples from practice. 

Speaker: Tineke Distelmans, Ph.D.
Tineke holds a PhD in business economics from KU Leuven and Vlerick Business School (Belgium). In her dissertation she focused on the use of text analytics for inter-firm contract management, but she has a broader interest in the digitalization and how technologies, such as AI and ML, are transforming the finance function.

Topic:
During this event, Tineke will discuss the fundamentals of AI and ML and how these technologies can help the finance function to be an even better decision-maker. Through a case study, she will also demonstrate some practical applications of ML algorithms and how they can be used to make more informed decisions.
